Weeks three through six, the program takes place at the main Nishi-waseda campus. The Summer Japanese Program has four (4) levels of Comprehensive Japanese and over twenty (20+) modular Japanese Language Workshops. The Comprehensive Japanese level that a student is placed into determines which Workshops he/she can take. Waseda gives a placement test to all participants, no matter what their language background.
